In 2001 Andrew along with his brother & sister decided to throw their parents a surprise 25th Anniversary party. Andrew & his brother Erik always tinkered with audio visual and decided to take $700 in savings, purchase a few speakers, a mixer and rent an amp to play music at the party. Like they say “the rest is history.” The company rapidly grew and at one point had over 10 dj’s, photo booths and other entertainment options.
Andrew took over day to day operations in 2005 and transformed the company into an event production services business. As clients asked for more than just a DJ, Andrew worked to deliver video, audio, scenic and lighting elements into their events. By 2013 they phased out all entertainment and now exclusively provide audio visual and creative services.
We offer a wide range of event production services, including audio, video, LED walls, outside broadcast services, interactive events, lighting, staging, scenic, creative, set design and fabrication. Our team works closely with each client to understand their unique needs and create a customized plan that will bring their vision to life. The inauguration of a new president is one of the most important events in a college's history. Mount Holyoke College recently hosted an inauguration for our new president, and we had a significant task at hand: using a 100-year-old auditorium that had not been updated as the main venue. This plan would involve honoring the history of the space but ensuring it was a showcase location for both the pageantry of the inauguration ceremony and the energy of the celebration dinner, an event transition that would occur in only 5 hours. Added complications were old wiring, an undersized stage, and no time or funds to do a full renovation on the auditorium. The planning committee was not sure how we could ensure a successful event worthy of the college's history and our new president, but then JX2 entered the picture.
Andy Jensen and his team are miracle workers: full of helpful ideas, quick to respond, and an absolute pleasure to work with. They turned our physical space into a ceremony venue that had our alums and guests gasping in surprise and joy, and then elicited similar reactions when the same guests entered the space as a dinner venue just a few hours later. They created a stage that showcased the auditorium and our brand better than we could have dreamed. They provided livestream coverage of the event that was so complete, watching at home felt like being in the auditorium. Most of all, they helped us shine in one of the most important moments in our history. This inauguration has been described by many as the best event Mount Holyoke has ever had, and as the head of marketing communications for the college and co-chair of the planning committee, I know without a doubt that much of the success and accolades are thanks to JX2. I am incredibly thankful that we partnered with Andy and his company for this event and I give JX2 my highest recommendation. They will exceed your expectations in every way possible.
